[DeTomaso] Pseudo-introducing a lurker...

We have a lurker in our group that I would like to introduce.  (He said it was OK.)

Tony has been educating himself for, what, a year or more by quietly following the list, 

as part of his plan to buy the right car.  

I'll leave it to him to speak up (if he wants to), and maybe mention the kind of car he
would like.

 

He came to my attention when he added 8 Panteras to the registry at one time.

This actually has set a record, so.

Anyway,

I told him that my website (and all the others) is not the only place to find the right
car.  I mentioned

that many fine cars change hands within the various local clubs without ever making it to
the internet,

so I suggested he join his local chapter and get plugged in.  He plans to, but is busy
right now.

 

My point is that if you are selling a DeTomaso, Tony is an educated and serious buyer, but
he can be patient

in order to get the right car.  

 

Personally, I admire his patience, something I didn't have when I bought.
