If this car can be had for $46K there is positively no way the WA car is worth $35

udging from the cars I see advertised in the POCA magazine there is no way this
ne is worth $35K.
Not started or driven in years??? Forget it unless someone has checked out the
ngine and transaxle, rebuilt the brakes and clutch systems, etc, etc,

uten tag, Bernd
've personally reviewed this car, located in a rather eclectic shop in
rnation, WA, a little town about 30 miles NE of Seattle, WA, on the US
st coast. Couldn't get much further from Deutschland.
he car presents quite clean. There does not appear to have been any body
mage, and what rust is visible appears to be largely on the surface. It
s been repainted in the original and very rare Aqua green, but, oddly,
th the rear deck painted black. Said to have sat for many years, the
int is in very good condition. The original early interior is in
cellent condition, with the exception of the steering wheel center, and
e trim inside and out is good as well. The engine bay is fairly clean,
t totally original with the undercoating, hoses and wires, and looking
ke it hasn't been cared for for a while.
was not able to allowed to start the car to see how it ran (it supposedly
t in a barn not moving for many years before they found it), so I cannot
test to mechanical condition of either the engine or ZF transmission. The
lever seemed to move smoothly enough in the gate. This inspection was in
ne of this year, and recent news of those who have stopped to see the car
that they still have not tried to start it. This could be confirmed by
ntacting the seller directly.
f there are no mechanical issues, this would be a very nice car to show or
ive once attention was paid to all the usual things that dry out over
me, and a freshening of the fluids, brakes and cooling system.
he shop is called Vintage Motors, on line at www.giocars.com, and can be
ached by telephone at 425-333-5600. The owner's name is Jim Giordano.
ve spoken to him a couple of times, and he seems like a pretty good
rson.
believe other have replied, including Chuck Melton, who has a link to a
mber of photos which you may not have seen.
lease contact me directly if you wish.

ello from Germany - I hope you can help me!
have been offered a 1971 Pantera from a company in England.
ter some research I found the car being offered by a U.S. based vintage
r dealer.
he car is said to be in very good shape (of course!) having a total mileage
 only 20,700 miles.
e color is Green Aqua (#V306 ) and they claim that the car had only one
ner from new.

o you know this car? I am very thankful for any message related to the car!
have no idea if it is accident free and I got no eMail reply so far
swering my questions.
have learned that it can be extremely helpful to contact a vintage car
ub to find out about details and history of cars being offered by dealers.
am very ambitious to find a good Pantera for quite a while now, the offers
re in Germany are either of poor quality or far too expensive.
f you have any information, please send me an eMail to: rathsberg at web.de or
can call you if you let me know your phone number.
hank you very much indeed and best regards from Germany!
