[DeTomaso] NPC - Corporate taxes

Who said corporations need to pay taxes at all?

Taxes exist to pay for the cost of government. We have thousands of taxes,
which effectively nickel and dime us to death.

When you tax corporations excessively, it makes financial sense to move the
business overseas. And, who gets hurt when that happens? It certainly
isn't the corporation.

Ask around. How many of your buddies lost their job because it was
outsourced overseas? Do you think the company did it because it's easier to
get work overseas? Maybe the quality is higher? Heck no. It's because it
makes more financial sense (in most cases). It's a PITA to outsource.

If you want to be completely fair, tax everything based on their debt to
society. If a corporation requires a ton of regulation, tax them
appropriately. If they help the economy grow, give them tax breaks.

My point is that one of the reasons our economy is so bad is because huge
numbers of jobs have moved to China, India, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, and
even Korea. Ask the people in those countries how the economy is doing.
Those that have benefited from outsourcing would say, "Great!"

I'm with you Larry. No tax breaks for corporations. F@$K them. Give them no
breaks and let them and their employees go elsewhere.
