[DeTomaso] Pantera question-- - NO POLITICS

Dear Paul,

How is your Pantera running? Given the fall weather, have you had it out for a drive before the weather turns unpleasant?
My Pantera #1 with the big engine may have inhaled a bit of schmutz in the carb as it now runs like crap below 4000 rpm and it runs well (!) above four grand. Pantera #2 which has been lame with a shift linkage problem was finally diagnosed and fixed about the time P1 went lame. P2 is running well and went on a backroad blast with a couple of friends, one with a Diablo and the other with a our favorite friendly Pantera. If you have two Panteras, then *usually* one of them is running well at any given time------maintainence costs are practically doubled, but there is usually always a Pantera ready to "git yer motor runnin' ". It is always something.
