I can't imagine what could happen in simply changing bushings that caused
an 'alignment problem', Steve. Unless offset bushings were used and installed
in the wrong ends of the a-arms, or mixed randomly. Bushing changes are not
difficult but the mechanic MUST understand what it being attempted here!
Try another shop- one that understands Panteras, or get a knowlegable friend
to come over to your place & DIY. No special tools- wrenches, a hammer, a
floor jack and an eyeball-alignment afterwards (to get you to a commercial
alignment shop, since I assume you don't do your own wheel alignments), is all
that's necessary. Figure on spending a Saturday afternoon at this job and be
sure all the bolts are tight before driving. Good luck- J DeRyke
