Right on the business part. Ask vendors how they feel about calls they get from Pantera owners on "how to" but they never get any business (aka; money) from them.
Guys like Mike or AJ and many others dedicate much of their lives to the marque and the club for no money or return other then the satisfaction they get from helping others. Yes, they are gay so imitation is not necessarily the sincerest form of flattery but glad we have them and glad we have the vendors too! ;-)>
Some of you socialists and a equal number of tea baggers gotta stop calling vendors for FREE information yet you don't ever buy anything from them.,...Yea, YOU know who I am talking about.

This is slightly off topic but I think it is still relevant. I don’t understand why there is so much animosity towards any of the vendors ever speaking up on the forum. If it weren’t for the various vendors out there none of us would be driving our cars and yet it seems like collectively they are treated like dirt. If any one of them speaks up on a topic many times, they are chastised and accused of promoting themselves. Why shouldn’t they promote themselves, this is how they make their living. If a vendor in our midst stands behind the work they do, then I say we give them the respect they deserve. How many people on this list have put significant capital into supplying parts or services?
There is a lot of good knowledge from various people on the list. However, not all of these people work on various Pantera’s on a daily basis. Why not welcome the thoughts, experiences, and opinions from the people that deal with the cars day in and day out? I would think the forum would benefit from their expertise and if they are trying to sell you something, guess what, you don’t have to buy it.
Lastly, someone made the quote “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. I think all of us would agree with that statement, but when it comes to your business or livelihood; who wants that kind of flattery? Those of you that own or have owned a business know exactly what I mean.
Sincerely,
Mark

I didn't understand the animosity in the reply, is there a history there we
don't know about.
Regardless, I value Mike Drew's observations and comments, many have been
helpful
since I acquired my Pantera. You can't please everybody, ask my ex-wife.
