Fred, the front rotors can, if you're lucky, be replaced cheaply with
ventillated rotors from a '67 Mustang and will bolt onto Panteras with no
alterations (per an article in the Oct '08 Newsletter). But it seems that there are
"several" 'different 67 Mustang rotors being sold today, and only one
variation actually works. That is the 'lucky' part. This change is not possible
for rear rotors.
Another option is the converted Porsche 911 Brembo rotors with an aluminum
'hat' adapter sold by PPC-Reno. These are more expensive but will fit both
front and rear uprights. No caliper changes are needed and both ends work
well for street and light track use.
A 3rd option is polling someone who's done the above changeovers and has
stockers available cheap. Shipping the 50 or so lbs of iron to Michigan would
likely be your biggest expense. Good luck- J DeRyke
