[DeTomaso] Window Help!

I've done the Taurus conversion and the mods to lower the window completely. No more window jamming in my arm!
It's been a long time since I took out the window and I'm having trouble remembering how the window goes in.
Does the widow felt bracket that is against the back of the inner door get mounted before the window goes in? It seams that is the problem from getting the window in.
Anyone? Before I break the glass or dent my newly painted door.
