I had mine sprayed and clearcoated by a local body shop maybe 10 years ago, too, and they came out great.  

But you probably should make them aware that these are magnesium-aluminum alloy wheels and they will have to be careful when they media blast them to use a gentle media.

FWIW, I had four wheels painted and clearcoated at a cost of some $600 or 
hereabouts, by a local body shop.   Costs are much higher in California due 
o all the government BS here. :<(
The finished result was perfect however; I'm quite happy with them.   I 
uch prefer painting magnesium wheels vice powdercoating them, as it's 
ifficult to achieve the proper color/finish with powdercoating, and it's not 
nusual for the wheels to out-gas and blister the paint during the process.
