It seems like the NASCAR guys would use a better product if it was out there.  The price would not be an issue unless it was really high.  I'm not sure what the tradeoffs are, but I assume they are pretty sure that two boxes will not both fail. All in all Iuspect that I have at least a total of  twelve trouble free years of useetween the two of them.             I  even stressed one system by welding on the car withoutomplete proper disconnection.  That boo-boo was about five years ago and Iave had no problems with it.             I have had two MSD problems.   One: a brand new 6-AL box wasead on delivery from Summit.    Two: one distributor cap seemed to developome sort of corrosion schmutz that required replacing the cap.   FWIW, iteems that MSD had more than one problem with that and it was some sort ofanufacturing problem, which they did not make good on and customers had toony up for new caps.  Sigh.             Finally, the two Panteras and their MSD ignition systems haveach done at least four thousand miles of long distance trips without anyssues over the last several years.   I have heard the horror stories too,ut mine have served well.
