[DeTomaso] spark plug gap

My understanding is performance will improve until the gap is too large and
they start misfiring.

How much will it improve? Mongo don't know.

I've tried several tricks with spark plugs - indexing, large gaps,
split-fires, and so on. I could never tell the difference with
seat-of-the-pants testing. I've always had the best luck with the
recommended gap, recommended plug, new wires, MSD, and as much advance as I
could run without pinging.

Subject: [DeTomaso] spark plug gap

If the spark plugs are gaped at .034 instead of say, .031 what will that do
to the performance of the engine?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
