Don't make me retell that story about Mike Drew in Saudi Arabia mounting the camel....okay make me but lets at least have a couple beers 1st.

Again in Sudan.... A Twin Otter with just the pilot and a cook for the seismic camp was headed to one of the seismic camps with meat for the guys.
Lost the right engine near Malakal and it was real hot with low lift. Pilot told the cook to go back and start throwing meat out the door until he could keep it flying.

They made it OK, minus a bunch of cow carcasses and we used to laugh our asses off thinking about some guy out hunting with his spear, sneaking through the grass looking for the big kill and all of the sudden a side of beef would fall out of the sky.....

And the stories I could tell about the guys from Columbia Helicopters flying their Chinook out there... Jeezzz.....

Better over a beer though.
