Well, the distance between the console and door panel the writer complained (indirectly) about being too narrow measures at 24"

The distance in my 1995 BMW 3 series is 23" and in our 2004 Toyota Highlander is 24"
So I guess those vehicles would be too snug for the author too.

I measure the width of the 3 pedals to be 10.5" 

Do people have cars they can compare those numbers with?
