I had QA1s, liked them.   I thought mine were too soft, then after I'd 
agreed to sell them I found out that Larry Stock equipped them with springs that 
were far too soft for my tastes (as soft as stock, it seems, maybe even 
softer!).   Wilkinson sells them with 450/550 lb springs, and so-equipped, they 
would be great for pretty aggressive sporting use.

They used to be substantially less expensive than the Konis, but the price 
on the Konis seems to have come down slightly while the QA1s have gone up so 
that they are now just about the same.   So now I have Konis. :>)
