I'm running these on both my Cobra and GT350 (both equipped with air/oil 
coolers) and they work great!

On the Mustang, there is very little clearance between the base of the 
fender and the inside of the fenderwell.   In fact I had to shorten the threaded 
boss on the adapter somewhat to get enough room to slip the filter in!
