[DeTomaso] EFI fuel line attachment through the gas tank drain plug suggestions?

I got it out with a 1/2 inch breaker bar.  The tank is out and I was able to get good leverage.  I don't see any damage to the tank, but I think Asa has a good point, some penetrating oil would have been a good thing.

Just use some good penetrating oil, let it sit for a day, spritz it 
again, let it sit, repeat for a couple of days and then gently try to 
unscrew it.
