[DeTomaso] response to Hemmings article indicated?

I haven't finished reading it yet, but I'm pissed off about the article on the Pantera in the Hemmings mag.
I'm tired of these articles that are written to be funny but in so doing distort reality.

for instance, the author implies / says that 
1 he was pinned between the console and door panel, so side bolsters in the seats was irrelvant
2) the secondary gauges in the console are only occasionally legible because of reflections
3) the car is exceptionally hard to get in and out of

If Hemmings wants to hire Jabba the Hutt to do it's roadtests, it should be clearing stated in the article.  
If this was the first low car the author has ever gotten in and out of, it should be stated so.
