LOL, good comment. Well, maybe so, I figured the main hoop would still
provide overhead support if it was on the other side of the firewall, just
about 4 inches or so farther "south".  But that's a good point! 

 

 

 

So, case-in-point.......given the compromises on either end with regards to
main hoop on the interior vs on the engine bay side, what are the arguments
for either side? Which do you prefer if you had decided you were going to
have a cage?



I suppose it depends on whether you're more concerned about protecting the
driver in a rollover accident, or the engine...:>)
