I also run a PIM-Fluidyne since 2001. I cut the right side tab off for 
front-mounted A/C line clearance. Maybe some day I'll weld it back on in a 
slightly different place; so far its not been needed as there seems to be little 
stress on the assembly once in place & full of water. FWIW- J DeRyke
