[DeTomaso] AC Compressor - Which Toyota Celica unit works

Look for a Sankyo SD-508 on the compressor ID plate. Almost every Japanese 
vehicle since the mid-'70s had one, and Sankyo even sells a cheap adapter 
bracket for the York compressor mounts. They aren't expensive new- like around 
$200. Junkyards will guarantee a $50 used one doesn't leak or isn't 
cracked. After that you're on your own. Good luck- J DeRyke
