Also, if I remember correctly, to tighten the A-arm bolts, take them snug,
then back off a quarter turn so they don't bind?

Not if properly lubricated.  Since your front end is apart anyway, go ahead
and pull the A-arms, remove the bushings (they will pop right out,  unlike
the factory kind that have to be pressed out), and lubricate them both
inside and out.

You know how when you buy poly bushings, they normally include a teeny, tiny
tube of lubricant, enough to do perhaps a quarter of the bushings that are
provided in any given kit?  This tube contains what appears to be the same
stuff, but in mass quantities, enough to do your car a dozen times, and it's
cheap.
