[DeTomaso] philosophical question

Rob,
I would say don't take it off the road until you can't stand the problem any 
longer,  unless of course you are the kind of guy who would rather work on 
the car than drive it.  I have been a Pantera owner since 1997 and my car or 
cars have been off the road more than they have been on.  That is not the 
way I planned it but, oh well. When I bought the second car,  it was in 
nowhere near the condition I wanted it to be.  I drove it as long as I could 
stand it,  (about ten months),  and then tore into it.  I kind of enjoy 
working on it but I much prefer to have it on the road when all I need to do 
is tinker with it.  I should mention that the only reason I have a second 
Pantera is that I totaled the first one,  (not recommended).  :-))
