The easiest solution is to go to any good aftermarket wheel store, and ask
them for some appropriately sized wheel boxes. They throw such boxes away
on a daily basis.
I do a LOT of shipping, and have found that Fed Ex Ground (as opposed to
'normal' Fed Ex air shipment) is cheaper than the post office, usually faster,
and provides full tracking capability.
