I bought an Equus OBD II Code Reader from Kragen on sale for $89 (normally $129). Watch your Sunday paper for the Kragen Auto insert:

For LESS than the price of an OBD I&II dual scanner, you could buy separate OBD I and OBD II scan tools. 
Just a thought! Never hurts to have MORE tools!
