Thunderbird 2.0 is very similar.

.Go to Tools > Account Settings
.Select Add Account
.Select RSS News & Blogs > Next
.Account Name (your choice) > Next > Finish

Now from the same Account Settings menu

.Select the new account & click Manage Subscriptions
. Add > paste in URL of the source (such as  
http://www.poca.com/index.php?format=feed)
   and optionally select "show the article summary instead of loading 
the web page"
. OK
Add as many sources as you'd like to be collected under that account name.
