[DeTomaso] Clutch help

 I measured 0.540 inches of travel at the pin that connects the slave pushrod to the clutch lever.  I taped a wire to the bellhouse that aligned with the center of the pin at rest and measured the distance from the wire to the center of the pin when fully extended.  At this point I had 0.022 of clearance between the clutch disk and pressure plate and the clutch disk moves freely.  I have minimal free play at this position.

How do these measurement compare to a working clutch?

How much "throw" do you have on the bellhousing arm?  Get someone to measure it when you deress the clutch pedal. Lets compare that to a working clutch.
