[DeTomaso] 5K Pantera

You are right. It is absolutley dependent on what your goals are. Some
people I know have worked on a restoration for ten years and didn't know
what to do with themselves when the project was done. They enjoye building
the car ( or rebuilding it) more then the enjoyed driving it. Other people
just want a car they can drive ( and sometimes can't afford) so they buy a
"bargin" and don't get the pleasure that the "builder "gets and they don't
get a driveable car! That's why you need to have clear goals and don't jump
in with both feet until you are sure you know what your getting or doing. I
have sold several jaguars to people I could tell were really strecthing
financially to make the purchase. I tried to explain to them that owning
some of these cars is more expensive then buying the car. But as you know
you can't educate someone in 5 minutes what they haven't learned in 20 or 30
years.
