Here's my take on it...
If the buyer did not receive what he was expecting, he should be reimbursed 
in full (if a 2nd deal can't be agreed upon) and the product should be 
returned at the sellers expense.
The insurance money should be paid to the person who paid for the insurance.
Black and white, no?
