[DeTomaso] Resistor in coil wiring?

Mikael,
Some Longchamps have a build in resistor cable to the ignition. The older
the cable, the higher the resistor. Best is to make a new cable from the
ignition switch to the engine room. The coil needs minimum 9 volts. The idea
is, to bypass the resistor while starting. The starter charges so much
voltage, that there might be not enough for the coil. For the carb, a relais
helps.
