Those are correctly assembled.

They are a press fit and were tight until we started running them.
The pin had popped out on one and the link bar hand gone vertical
and spun around so it was behind the pushrods.

The purpose of the link bar is to keep the lifter bodies from spinning
(around the pushrod axis) so the rollers stay oriented on the cam lobes.
I don't think it matters which side the links are on as long as there is
no interference.
