See the attached picture (email list software will not forward it).
You see the two large discs on the link bars.  On the side that is
not visible is a pin that slides through and retains the link bar
to a curve extension on the lifter body.  To be absolutely sure,
you'll want to remove the lifter and check to see that the diameter
of the head on the pin side is larger than the diameter of pin itself.
Dn Mixon was present for the dyno test and measured the pin diameter
at around 0.195".  On the set that were properly swaged, the head of
the pin was 0.287" in diameter.  However, it should be obvious if the
pins are backing off as there will be a gap between the disc on the
side you can see and the flat of the link bar.
