[DeTomaso] Before my fans wouldn't run... now they won't shut off!

I have Dakota Digital relays on my fans, and they have an adjustment so you can determine how long the fans will run after the car is turned off. I have mine set for 15 seconds, for no particular reason, but what I found annoying was that if I let the car sit for a minute or so after the fans had turned off, then turned the ignition key to the accessory position, the fans would turn on again due to the "still hot" engine. I found out, just by accident, that at that point, if I turned the key off and then quickly on again, the fans would stay off.
I don't know if that would work with your system, but it's worth a try!
