[DeTomaso] Before my fans wouldn't run... now they won't shut off!

Hi all

I'm happy because I smell like DeTomaso. There's a certain smell from being
around the exhaust... if you carry clothes in your trunk, you know what I
mean.

Tonight they installed the radiator and suspension on my car, and tomorrow I
drive the eight hours back home. We have a small snag.

Before, my fans wouldn't run. When my sensors died a while back, we jumpered
them so that they would run all the time. I haven't gotten around to
changing the sending units, so they still ran all the time.

The problem turned out to be a wire that got nicked while pulling the
radiator. Easily enough fixed. But now they don't shut off when turning the
ignition off and removing the key!

What could be possible causes? I have a late-model car, with the Rick
Moseley kit installed with relays in the front trunk.

To get home tomorrow, I'll take the car as-is (I've run out of time to do
anything else) and will simply pull the jumper wires off when I stop for gas
and to eat. Where should I look to find out why the fans operate whether the
ignition is on or not? Any ideas?

Thanks! Tomorrow - road trip! 8 hours in the rain in my brand new, shiny
car. Hopefully it will just be brand new and dirty when I arrive.
