Hi Ken,
I always use what comes with the new cam or what the cam manufacture
recommends.
I always put parts back the way they come off even nuts and boltz. That's
good work Ken!

Larry,
I have a parts organizer for the rockers, push rods, and lifters, so I
can put them all back whence they came.
Whick lube would you use?
Ken

Hi Ken,
You most likely do not need to use the lube, but I would. It will not cause
any harm. You did nark the lifters to back in the same hole...right?

I have taken a good look inside a low miles Cleveland that set for over a
year. I pulled the cam out to find out what it is, and measure the lobes,
and am putting it all back together now. It has 1000+ miles on what appears
to be a good quality rebuild with some nice parts.
Do I need to use break in cam lube on the cam? It's a Comp Cams 292H
hydraulic lifter cam and is suppose to be 2500 to 6500 RPM.
Thanks,
Ken
