[DeTomaso] Causes for cylinder cutting out?

That reminds me of the first time I did a tune up on a full dress Harley
back in the 70's.

Did all the work and started it up. Placed my hands at the back end of the
exhoust. Dam one side is blowing cold. Grabed the pipe coming off the head.

As I was rolling around on the ground with a fist size blister on my hand, I
saw that it had a cross over pipe under the trans.

I start with cool headers, and start the engine. Then I lick my finger and
quickly touch each header pipe to find a cool one.  Kinda crude, but I don't
need tools, just spit..  Bill 1362
