[DeTomaso] Rubber for Pantera gas tank cushion/insulation

The interior of my tank was spotless too; looked brand new. I've since
refinished the exterior. Now I just need the rubber to mount it back into the
car.

Also cleaned the exterior of the tank with power wire brush, primed and
painted. Worth considering while you have it out. Luckily, my tank
interior was spotless.

Excellernt move! The stock stuff was firm foamed rubber and held splashed
water against the unpainted stock tank, enough so some tanks rusted thru
from
the outside-in. The bottom pad was also this type. Good luck- J DeRyke
