No, I've never heard about the Ryco. I rely on Purolator L30001 myself.
It's easily available and seems to be of decent quality and design.

It has a 2008 update now and it's good. Thanks Tomas & SOBill
Funny - of course the best filter (Ryco) you can't buy here. Is it 
available in Sweden?
And yes FRAM is a horror.
Damn - I thought if you bought an "expensive" one it would be OK.
