I'll second that. Last time I checked, Fram was owned by AlliedSignal, now
known as Honeywell. As a former employee of the organization, I would say
unless the topic is profit, there's no sense in listening to anything they
have to say.

This may be way out of date, but the famous reliable Fram of days gone by is
run by new owners and the tests that I have seen in the last five years show
that Fram quality is much reduced from what you'd expect. That is all I
know.
