[DeTomaso] ZDDP - is this stuff any good?

Dear Dave,

 

 

                    I wrote that post early in the morning before a full
caffeine dose of three cups.   I do believe that you're right.  15W-50 was
the "good'' stuff, but may well be lower in zinc than it used to be.
Sigh.   Doesn't anything stay the same anymore....?

20W-50 never was any good Charles.
15W-50 was but its just a friggin SM oil now, so 800 - 900 ppm.
