Like the eyes are the windows to the soul, the plugs are the windows to
your engine's health. Pull one, if it's wet with fuel, you have ignition
problem, if it's bone dry you have a fuel problem.

Only once have I experienced an engine having both fuel and ignition and
not starting. Problem was incorrect rockarms/pushrod length, so valves
never closed=no vacuum and no compression! The engine cranked quite
quickly on the starter though :-)
