> The problem has nothing to do with your distributor.  Doubling the pin is a good idea, but more important is to determine what is causing the pin to break in the first place.  Jack has said the primary cause is debris clogging the oil pump.  You might consider pulling the oil pan and seeing what's floating around in there...
