[DeTomaso] Need new shocks - which to go with

    There have been several group buys of Aldan shocks in addition to Hall and Precision Proformance selling them for many years.  There may be a lot more Aldan shocks on Panteras than replacement Konis and you would expect failures to be proportionally greater.  It seems like there has been a lot of shooting from the hip without statistical support.  All in all, there appear to be a lot of people really happy with Aldan shocks.  
 
    Personally, I prefer to buy a product made locally versus China and will give them a chance.  And, they look cool, LOL
 
    If I was seriously racing, I'd put more time into the decision and maybe make a different decision, but, this is all just a fun hobby for me.

If I was buying new shocks, the following would point me in one direction and away from another.

1 - Quite a few reports of problems, recurring problems even, with Aldan.

2 - No reports of problems with Koni.

Why is the obvious conclusion unclear to anyone?
