To call this thing a production car is a bit of joke.  It costs Volkswagen $5 
mill to build each one and they sell for $ 1mill.  This was strictly so the 
engineers could see what they could do.

For a street car, it is impressive but,....

On any given Sunday at any  NHRA event in the Top Fuel and Funny
Car classes, it will get you last place.
