>From the July 19, 2010 issue of Autoweek.  Bugatti is claiming a new production car top speed record with a combined two run average of 267.9 mph by a Veyron 16.4 Super Sport model.  The previous record, 253.76 mph was set by a standard Veyron 16.4 in 2005.  The record run occurred at parent company Volkswagen's 13 mile Ehara-Lessien test track in late June.  UN FRIGGIN BELIEVABLE!!!
