[DeTomaso] Where to put O2 bungs?

All,

Where is the best place to locate O2 bungs in our teeny tiny short systems?

In the collector area of the header or on the inlet pipe to the mufflers?

As far back as ya can go or.....????

Figure since I'm gonna be welding.....may as well do these for tuning!  Just 
need to know where, as the headers are steel and the rest is stainless and I can 
get bungs in either metal.....
