Not sure whats being sold now, but Hall's trunnion used to be a pretty 
aluminum thing with a white teflon bushing for the shift tube to slide through, 
and had a small setscrew to retain it. Teflon has a low softening 
temperature, and the trunnion is pretty close to the left header. So on some cars, the 
teflon softened so much, the setscrew that holds the bushing in place, no 
longer did so. The bushing slid out and you couldn't get another gear until 
it was pushed back in place. It didn't seem to matter which way the trunnion 
was installed, the bushing has a lip only on one end and it slid out the 
other way. No adhesive will hold teflon, either. IMHO a redesign was needed; 
maybe it happened by now but if its got a teflon bushing, look closely at the
