[DeTomaso] Exhaust coating questions?

That's interesting.  I'm sending a new set of 180s out for coating this
week; meanwhile I'm scrambling to find sheet aluminum to make heat shields
for the decklid and front of wheel wells.  Could it be that I really don't
need the heat shields??

I had my 180's ceramic coated inside and out. 2 yrs now and holding very 
well. Don't need a heat shield due to the lower temps.
