    It was my understanding that you use the fitting on the slave cyclinder, but that a new fitting (adapter) is needed at the other end of the flexible line to connect to the hard line???

I agree with you. After I bought the flex line and the new slave cylinder from Wilkinson you would think he would include the fitting. I got the story that the slave cylinder I took off should have had the fitting on it. At the time I trusted him but from what I am reading now it appears we cannot trust any vendor. Sorry, I cannot include Hall in that, Tara has always been very honest with me.
