[DeTomaso] windshield dilema

If I were having it installed by a glass (windshield specialist ) I would
make sure that I purchased the windshield from them. The price of the
windshield will undoubtedly be more expensive but this way* if ( when) it
breaks* This way if he breaks it it is on him not you. If the installer
breaks a windshield you supplied he can always claim that the problem is
that it doesn't fit because it is the wrong windshield and therefore not the
installers fault. These is the same problem you run into any time a
mechanic is using parts that the customer supplies and a problem arises. *A
penny of prevention is worth a pound of cure*.
Just my 2 bits worth of opinion.
