[DeTomaso] Mustang images

I wasn't sure what the center log contained. What is the point of having eight throttles feeding a plenum in a fuel injection application? A certain spread along the length of the engine I can understand but it seems over-complex to me. I'm sure the design we see is no coincidence, hence my question.
